The route I chose begins at the top left corner of the map and goes south towards the lake, east along the lakeshore, through the park at the community centre, west along Dawson Ave. and finally north to return to the top left corner. I chose this route for a few reasons. First, it is easy to access since it starts at my door and returns to my door. Second, the area along the lakeshore has always been one of my favourite places to walk. Finally, because of the arbouretum at the Community Centre and the large park area on the lakeshore, there is a higher level of species diversity along this route than most others in my neighbourhood. |
